This building, which was first a bourgeois residence, became the Town Hall in 1890. From the architectural point of view, the building presents some frescoed vaults and precious overdoors (XVII and XIX centuries)
Inside the Town Hall there is the Historical Archive, where parchments and documents are preserved. These documents date back to the XIII century and attest the old history of independence and the sequence of events linked to the Marquisate of the Monferrato, of which Rosignano is proud.
Next to the Town Hall there is the modern municipal library, which dispose of more than 13.000 books. It was created in 1981 and then reallocated in 2001. It is an important reference point for those who want to read a good book. Some cultural and educative courses and initiatives are held in the library, which is also headquarter of the Study Center “Maniscalco”.
