Arnaldo Morano was born in Turin. He started working with his father in his carpentry in Rosignano when he was only 13 years old. As an autodidact, he dedicated himself to the art of lutherie. He built and restored violins, violas and cellos of all times. With great inventiveness, Arnaldo Morano became one of the most important and famous protagonist of the Italian and Mondial lutherie. Many important musicians used instruments created by Arnaldo Morano. His workshop has been rearranged in the internal halls of the municipal theatre “Salone Ideal”.
