The tower was built in 1852 with the materials and as a replacement for the previous one, which was adjacent to the Sant’Antonio Church. Until the early 1900 it was provided with a dome, which was later demolished. It is near the old Town Hall (which is nowadays a private house) and near the old main square, between the two churches of Sant’Antonio and San Vittore.
